Hello everyone.

Does anybody have an idea how long does it usually take to finish peak detection, identification, and alignment in MS DIAL. I have been running my MSe data all night and the job is not yet done.

Thanks

Hi Lex
Short answer: it can take from some hours to e.g 1 day (say for up to 200 samples)
Longer answer: it depends on many things. How many files you have, if they are centroided mzML (faster) or profile (slower), how complex your samples are, etc. And it depends on the parameters settings. For instance a mz slice (bin) of 0.1-0.05 would usually go much faster than 0.01!

Cheers
