Hello Every one!
While according to my understanding GNPS allows us to run files of ms-ms tandem mass spectra and GC-EI-MS data.. can we run EI-MS high resolution data on GNPS platform?
If someone can guide, will be highy grateful.

Hello Kashif,

Yes, GNPS does support analysis of high resolution GC-EI-MS data such as those from Orbitraps/QExactives.

The tutorial is here and easy to follow: https://ccms-ucsd.github.io/GNPSDocumentation/gcanalysis/
The above link also has a great tutorial video. You can also check out the related publication: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41587-020-0700-3

Your starting point can be MSHub-GC with HR-GC-MS files here :https://gnps.ucsd.edu/ProteoSAFe/index.jsp?params=%7B%22workflow%22:%22MSHUB-GC%22%7D or outputs from other data processing tools tools that you use to analyze your data such as MS-DIAL or MZmine 3 etc.

Hope these help.

Thanks,
Biswa

Hello Biswapriya!
I am asking about LC-EI-MS with high resolution and not the GC-EI-MS technique.
