I am perplexed that when I visit this newsgroup some of its members
notify its absence....what's the issue if a certain guy is not around
and why does he need to post a notification?....Does this affect
molecular gastronomy per se...?
Are they getting their 'salary' from this group that their regular
presence is a requisite to their employment?

Hi Roy,
Not sure of your point but "Out of office" reply delivers an email to every address that sends a message. I'll see if I can disable this feature for the MG google email.
