Research Associate in Biotech
Develop new molecular biology methodologies and reagents for ddPCR and Next Generation Sequencing sample preparation. Perform novel biochemistry, cell biology, and molecular biology experiments Improve and optimize protocol and testing methods Transfer processes to development and manufacturing groups.
Intense tinker with healthy respect to processes Well versed in molecular biology techniques and analytical instruments / testing methods A keen eye and interest in owning, rather than simply executing experiments. B.S. in Biology, Biochemistry, or similar discipline, with 1-3 years of direct lab experience. Track record of execution and analysis of experiments on aggressive schedules in a rapidly changing environment. Ability to thrive in a multi-disciplinary setting while working alongside scientists, engineers, chemists, software developers and manufacturing professionals. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, logical and analytical thinking, ability to multitask, work independently and on a team, and the ability to learn, troubleshoot, and problem solve.
