I used to play this a lot but ended up getting RRT3 and falling for the graphical upgrade. That became my default RRT game the last few years. But I was jonesing for some different maps and have rediscovered how good RRT2 really was. With the expansion and gold edition there are a ton of great maps, plus plenty of campaign fun to be had.

Eh, I disagree. Only because the economic model was really weak. I loved the graphical style of the game, the UI was good, and watching cities grow bigger due to your influence was nice. It crossed a line of unbelievability and sort of cheesiness when price was pretty much just a factor of distance of travel, so bringing in a resource from miles away to a producer, even if the producer had that resource right on his doorstep, was too lucrative. RRT3 fixed that.

I enjoyed both RRT 2 and 3, but 3 just seems like it ought to be the best with its more sophisticated economic model. A lot of any enjoyment I had was down to the map, I found the German unification scenario in RRT3 was particularly excellent and challenging.

I can agree with the first half about abstraction, though I thought the ride-along view was really fun once you had a really long route. The size ratios in the game are a bit off though. No real majestic mountain vistas to be seen since the trains themselves are bigger than buildings.

I have a really good park (almost 180 guests) and from my playthroughs I've seen that the best options for the prices of rides is simply to reduce it by 1$. This will attract more customers and they will say it's at great value or that it's extremely cheap.

Lowering the price is the only way you're gonna attract some visitors, as they will otherwise complain that it's too expensive or just not go to your ride. The same can be applied to the stalls, where as sometimes you'll need to reduce the price by 2$ or so.

Definitely lava wood is the best. All you need is a car, an axe, and maybe some skills on going up the volcano and going down without flipping your car/truck. Mayyyybe I'd say Gold wood through longplanking runs in second, but never go for Cavecrawler. It simply is too time consuming to have to ride the ferry twice. Frost wood probs third best due to the sheer amount it gives. An honorable mention would be Phantom wood, but whether you can profit off that depends on the current prices of the Preserved Enlarged Ostrich Eye.

Like Minkles13 said, if you make a door bridge to the swamp, gold is worth more than lava, but a door bridge is difficult and time consuming to make, with a slight chance your car will flip if you drive on the doorknobs. No doubt lava is better than ice, because ice wood has thin branches, making it unprofitable. And, like HaruArata said, NEVER go for cavecrawler. The only way to make some kind of money from it is to ride the ferry with a friend (figure a way to do that first), go into the cavern, make your friend do all the work, and leech off of him like a 'good' friend does. Haha, no sarcasm here!

Best Buddies Collection is a collection of dog breeds. There is a total of 35. If you complete the collection you will also get a Dog Enthusiast badge/rank. The name is based on the phrase "man's best friend", which is used to refer to a dog.

In Princess Tycoon, there are 10 tycoons available. Each is a copy of the same base model, but with different colors and gears inside. They are two-story large square shaped buildings with windows all around.

Competition in Princess Tycoon is rampant. Cotton is one of the best if not the best tycoon in the game, with a high range, high damage weapon available just on the first floor. Others such as Moon, Friday, or Spirit are also prized tycoons for the gears, such as Moon having a flying gear on the first floor. However, not all of the tycoons are as good. Sunshine and Rose, notably, are two of the worst tycoons for their relatively useless gears.

Soldiers when first introduced, have become one of the most essential parts of Military Tycoon. Most of the time, Soldiers are being equipped to protect the owner and helped him or her in raiding other players bases. Each soldier has its own ability which it's important to put them in right place, which is the right thing, like for example, equip only Heavy Soldier or only using the Naval Officer are not functioning well. Therefore, Squad Arrangement is an art which even some Military Tycoon veterans cannot master. This article will show you the best arrangements for Soldiers, so that you can continue your journey with powerful companions to defend yourself and attack players.

Your squad is made up of a maximum of 3 soldiers (4 if you use the Extra Soldier Gamepass). They all have the same speed and health Stats, but they are slower than players. If your solders find players and NPCs in range, they will stand still and fire at the targets in respond to protect you or themselves.

Sometimes, when 2 Clans declare war on each other, they might find themselves fighting on open ground. Therefore, when fighting directly, Soldiers can most likely be killed during the battle. This problem can be solved by returning back to base to summon him, but this will take time and you will be likely taken down before you can retreat back to your base. For this, your squad should have a Blackhawk Trooper and a Medic, and your third Soldier can be whatever you want but it is highly recommended to use the Heavy gunner. The Blackhawk Trooper can summon a dead soldier back to the frontier, during which the Medic can recover the squad. The Heavy Soldier is good at suppression and will kill of any enemy instantly

Soldier like Ace Pilot and Naval Officer can improve Vehicle stats and these types are able to stack. Equip all in Ace Pilot or in Naval Officer for specific vehicle will make the vehicle more powerful, even for the worst vehicles in the game.

Generally, the most versatile soldier would be a Juggernaut. Its incredible fire-rate, damage, and health proves it worthy. Always have a medic around, as they will heavily heal you and your Juggernauts. The perfect versatile build is two Juggernauts, and a medic. Oh yeah I know most of y'all reading this don't have Juggernaut, so here is the replacement. A regular Heavy or two will do the job perfectly.

If you have the +1 Soldier Gamepass, then just equip another medic. This build is incredibly powerful as it will annihilate in short and medium range, but may have a little trouble with long range. The two medics (or 1) will basically insta-heal, but keep in mind to protect them at all costs. A good strategy to defend your medics is to put your riot shield over them, allowing them to not attack instead heal. All these 3 soldiers combined will kill a Skull Armor player in a matter of seconds, and will do the best job in everytime you fight.

For accessibility, you can change the difficulty when starting a new scenario, and even use Train Table Mode" that is perfect for those who just want a model train simulation game without worrying about events, money, and other in-game modifiers. All of this is elevated by a lovely in-game tutorial system that you can use to guide yourself when you find yourself stuck. As usual, Feral Interactive also included some tutorial videos through an external YouTube playlist.

Performance has been good on my iPhone 11, but it runs a lot better on the iPhone 14 Plus I used to test as expected. I imagine the best version is a modern iPad Pro. While the game is capped to 60fps right now, I hope a potential update can allow uncapping the frame rate at the cost of battery drain for those who want to experience even smoother performance.

It takes a ton of intelligence, careful planning, and pure luck to run a successful business or rule over a sizable population. While it may take years and years of real-world training in the areas of collegiate studies and on-the-job training to be afforded such an important position, there are a wealth of games that can test out your skills in that role without having to jump through those aforementioned hoops. The best tycoon games tend to make you the boss of your very own theme park, bustling city, farm, hospital, and so much more. Whether you're in the mood to run your own prison or even a country, the 16 games we're set to mention here provide those experiences in the most satisfying and addictive ways possible.

The RollerCoaster Tycoon series is the undisputed GOAT of the entire construction and management simulation genre. RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic is a remastered take on the first two games in the series that combines the best features of both titles and presents them within a comprehensive package that fans look to as the gold standard. The fun derived from this game comes from crafting your own massive theme park, managing its staff, keeping its patrons pleased with their experience, and building your custom roller coasters. Major kudos to game designer Chris Sawyer for giving birth to one of the best tycoon games we've ever played!

Cities Skyline has come such a long way from its original 2015 release. In the years since it rose above Electronic Arts' 2013 SimCity game, Colossal Order's prized city-builder has embraced a day-night cycle, winter-themed elements, a football stadium, the scary presence of natural disasters, and tons more elements that fill out its huge customization suite. The remastered version of this release is the one we prefer the most - besides your usual array of performance enhancements and other quality-of-life improvements, this improved version of the game gifts players with a building area of up to 25 tiles, which helps them build something even grander within their digital dream city.

Both Zoo Tycoon games pretty much laid down the blueprint for Frontier Developments' very own take on the zoo-building classics. And in the process, Planet Zoo does everything those previous games did but so much better. This much preferred spiritual successor puts you in charge of maintaining a wildlife conservation center jam-packed with animals that have amazingly realistic AI behaviors that are similar to their real-life counterparts. Once you wrap your head around all the systems and complexities attached to them, you'll have all the fun in the world as you construct comfortable habitats for your assorted animals and keep visitors entertained with your zoo's creative presentation.
