Greetings,

The Test::Mojo examples show URL related testing. How would I go about
testing Mojo commands or an arbitrary subroutine?

Test::Mojo is just an extension of the Test::More framework for mojo-specific purposes. To test non-web parts of your Mojolicious application, just use Test::More as you normally would for other Perl software.
