Hi,

The Mojo team is pleased to announce the release of the JAX-WS Maven Plugin version 2.6.

To get this update, simply specify the version in your project's plugin configuration:

<plugin>
        <groupId>org.codehaus.mojo</groupId>
        <artifactId>jaxws-maven-plugin</artifactId>
        <version>2.6</version>
</plugin>

This release is primarily about supporting Java 9+.

Good morning,

Please pardon me if I'm not following the correct posting protocol for this group. I have just joined for the purpose of asking a specific question.

I am a software engineer at Lockheed Martin. We are attempting to certify the Apache Camel tool for use in our programs. The tool’s documentation includes the following reference:

This product includes/uses software, shade-maven-plugin (http://mojo.codehaus.org/shade-maven-plugin),

developed by Codehaus  (http://codehaus.org)

For our certification purposes, I need to know the specific license under which the shade-maven-plugin is written. I have looked at the URLs provided but have not found a clear statement of the information I need. Your assistance in providing this information is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

James C. Jensen

Hi,

In the future, please don't hijack a mail thread. Create a new one for your topic. I've changed the subject to reflect your question.

I'm not an expert in licensing, but I think that Apache Camel should state the license of shade-maven-plugin. At least if that license requires that.
In any case, the license of shade-maven-plugin (of Codehaus) could depend on what version it is. The license is sometimes changed.
shade-maven-plugin was initially developed at Codehaus, but was then moved to an official Apache Maven plugin at ASF. See Apache Shade Maven plugin [1]. But the license there could be different than what was the case at Codehaus. Codehaus doesn't exist any more though and I couldn't find any license info for shade-maven-plugin (of Codehaus).

/Anders
