Hi,
There is very little activity here.
Every vote finishes as a lazy consensus as nobody votes.
Do we really need to vote for a release?
I would make it optional. Personally I find this very counterproductive and preventing more frequent releases.

WDYT?

if no answer I guess this will be a lazy consensus YES we do not need to vote on releases :)

cheers

I agree that the reduced number of active developers doesn’t justify the process.

Release managers can always maintain the vote and / or ask for community feedbacks without making the vote process mandatory.

Thanks for bringing this up, Oliver. Makes perfect sense to me!

+1.

Just thinking: maybe we should find some way, maybe in the pipeline or so to send some notice here as it's being released so people interested in a given plugin can be notified.

OTOH, people can also just watch a plugin's GitHub repo and configure it to be notified only about releases. Following the lazy path, I guess that latter option is the best :-).

Hi there,

I completely agree with Baptiste on this. Let's cut releases without votes and let people subscribe to releases in repositories.

Best Regards

It looks like we are good with this.

there is some documentation on sandbox. Do we still need this?
