How to get permission to release to Sonatype OSS repo?

Hi, I am trying to stage the the license plugin for the first time and I
am getting the following error during deploy:

Could not transfer artifact
org.codehaus.mojo:license-maven-plugin:jar:1.17 from/to ossrh-staging
(http://oss.sonatype.org/service/local/staging/deploy/maven2): Access
denied to:
https://oss.sonatype.org/service/local/staging/deploy/maven2/org/codehaus/mojo/license-maven-plugin/1.17/license-maven-plugin-1.17.jar

I assume I need the permissions for org.codehaus.mojo in the Sonatype
OSS repo. I asked for them on Sonatype Jira [1]. I hope this is the
right way to do that. Otherwise, I am ready to be taught what to do :)

Hello Peter,

I think you need to open a ticket in this JIRA instance on project OSSRH. Unfortunately I am not allowed to look into the linked ticket, I always get permission denied.
