moji doesn't work anymore

it simply doesn't work anymore. When I select a japanese term (with
right mouse click) and select "search word in moji" it opens the moji
sidebar in firefox and nothing happens. It only shows me the welcome
display but not the searched/selected japanese term. I'm using firefox
v. 2.0.013 and I really need moji, I love it. ;__;

Can you please check the error console (menu Tools) for error messages.
Can you also please check the configuration of moji, if you have the
dictionaries correctly set up.
Please also post the current installed versions of moji and dictionaries
as shown in the Add-Ons manager. Make sure that moji or the dictionaries
are enabled there.

Ich hoffe es macht nichts, wenn ich jetzt auf Deutsch schreibe. So ist
es etwas leichter für mich zu erklären. Also wie schon gesagt: es
kommen keinerlei Fehlermeldungen, nur die Sidebar geht in Firefox auf
mit dem "Startbildschirm" in der unteren Hälfte. An der Konfiguration
und an den installierten Wörterbüchern habe ich seit der allerersten
Installation von Moji vor... puhh 1-1/2 Jahren nichts verändert. Und
seit Montag von heute auf Morgen funktioniert es nicht mehr. Ich bin
mir nicht sicher, ob an dem gleichen Tag auch ein Update von Firefox
vorlag... aber es könnte so gewesen sein.
Folgende Add-On-Versionen benutze ich:
Moji 0.9.2
Moji-De 0.5.20071013
Moji-En 0.5.20080306
Moji-J_Places 0.5.20071013
Moji-JpNam 0.4.20071013
Moji-Kanji-De 0.4.20071013
Moji-Kanji-En 0.4.20071913
Alle sind aktiviert und waren auch nie deaktiviert ;)
Habe mir jetzt als vorübergehende Notlösung Seamonkey + Sidebar + Moji
(gleiche Versionen) und da funktioniert es komischerweise. Ob es mit
Firefox zusammen hängt?

Bist Du sicher, dass keine Fehlermeldungen in der Errorkonsole
erscheinen? Schließe bitte einmal alle Moji Sidebars. Dann schließe
Firefox komplett mit Menü Datei-Beenden. Dann starte Firefox neu. Im
Menü Tools/Extras sollte es die Errorkonsole geben. Falls dort bereits
Fehlermeldungen stehen, lösche die.
Dann öffne im Hauptfenster von Firefox den Moji-Sidebar. Irgendwelche
Fehlermeldungen?
Gib noch was ins Textfeld ein, z.B. 日本 und lasse danach suchen, d.h.
drücke den Word und Kanji Button. Jetzt irgendeine Fehlermeldung?

Da Du auch 0.9.2 noch hast, nehme ich an, dass Du moji von
addons.mozilla.org heruntergeladen hast. Die neue Version ist seit ca. 2
Wochen dort auch verfügbar. Davor war es noch 0.8. Da hat sich einiges
geändert. Bitte klicke im geöffneten Sidebar auf Mehr/More und dann auf
Konfigurieren/Config.
Überprüfe die Tabs, insbesondere die mit den Wörterbuchlisten, dass die
Wörterbücher dort wirklich auch auftauchen.
Wenn das alles korrekt ist, dann gibt bitte in den Location-Bar von
Firefox die URL about:config ein. Es erscheint die aktuelle
Konfiguration. Gib in den Filter "moji" ein. Schreibe bitte einmal, was
Du bei
moji.deactdicts
moji.deactkanjidicts
moji.dictorder
moji.kanjidictorder
moji.serverdicts
hast. Außerdem sollten folgende Einträge auch vorhanden sein:
moji.dicts.mojide
moji.dicts.mojien
moji.dicts.mojijplaces
moji.dicts.mojijpnam
moji.kanjidicts.mojikde
moji.kanjidicts.mojiken
Alle diese Einträge erscheinen mit Status default, Type boolean und
Value true.

Ich vermute, es ist ein Problem durch den Update von 0.8 auf 0.9. Mir
ist nur nicht klar, wieso. Meine Tests hatten problemlos funktioniert.

problem was that moji 0.9 was not able to read the 0.8 moji.rdf file
which stores the search history. The problem was solved by deleting
the moji.rdf in the profile directory. The path to the profile
directory containing the moji.rdf file can be found in the error
message in the Error Console (Menu Tools). As an alternative you can
search you Documents and Settings folder for moji.rdf. Delete or
rename this file and moji 0.9 should start without problems.
I would still hope that someone who experiences this problem would
send me a defect moji.rdf for analysis.

stopped working with thunderbird (2.0.0.14, the same with 2.0.0.9) a
while ago.
when i click "nachschlagen in moji" the sidebar just does not appear.
error console tells me: "toggleSidebar is not defined;
chrome://moji/content/tbmoji.xul" in line 81.
is there any solution to this problem?

Moji 0.9 now requires Philipp Chee's xSidebar.

Did you install it? Before 0.9 xSidebar was integrated into moji.
