Autumn is a time for change, and here at WTJU we're doing the same! Starting This Friday, October 14th, the Levitt AMP Charlottesville Music Series at Ix Art Park will be moving to Friday afternoons! Our 1st Friday show will feature Baaba Seth AND Morwenna Lasko & Jay Pun Quartet. 
Formed right here in Charlottesville in 1991, Baaba Seth brings together the catchy grooves of modern African music and the American songwriting tradition. Employing a variety of instruments and talented vocalists this is one world-beat jam band that will draw you in and not let go!
Morwenna Lasko & Jay Pun Quartet are a unique, genre defying duo who use violin and guitar to blend music from all over the world. They have created a sound that is like nothing you'll hear anywhere else, so come on out and take this opportunity to hear something brand new! 
This will be the first of three straight Friday shows for the Levitt AMP Charlottesville Music Series as we move into the fall! Performances will run from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, and as always are free!
