Fwd: An Update on the Souvenir Controversy

Although I know you guys have better things to do than to listen to gossip from the likes of me I am a writer and hence I can't help letting my words overflow.

Today evening I went to the Club and surprisingly Oswald Cordeiro the President of the Moira Club came at exactly the same time as I did. 

Before I spoke Ossie said that the committee would meet on Sunday to decide about the souvenir. 

I said nothing but went to play cards while he went to play badminton with Francis Nazareth among others. 

I got kicked out of my rummy game and then went to watch the badminton where Ossie was playing with Francis Nazareth against a couple of youngsters.

Ossie missed a couple of shots which is when I fired out a sarcastic remark: 'I always say that our President has no judgement.'

Ossie looked at me with puzzlement as did Francis Nazareth who was partnering him but neither made any comment.

Anyhow I hope you guys are enjoying the show. Ossie doesn't realise that the the Centenary Souvenir issue has gone out of his hands. I had told Jerry Pinto to warn him but obviously Ossie chose to ignore Jerry's advice. 

Now we have a Mad Moidekar Tale on our hands. How will it end?

Dearest Augusto,

Congrats on your big achievement of putting together a Souvenir on the completion of 150 years of the Moira Club. People of Moira should unite on this occassion and not criticize. My late parents would have complemented you on that great achievement. I am always proud of you and admire you for doing so much for Moira in all these years. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
