Adobe Creative Cloud is a set of applications and services from Adobe Inc. Users have access to a collection of 20+ desktop and mobile software applications used for graphic design, video editing, web development, photography. Also available are cloud services, including tutorials.
All SF State faculty and staff may download and install the latest version of Adobe Creative Cloud software on to their computers (e.g., work and personal). Access to the apps and services is authenticated through the SF State account and password. Therefore, the user is required to log in to the Creative Cloud to install and use the apps, but may only be logged into a maximum of two computers at a time.
Students in certain majors receive Adobe Creative Cloud as part of their program. Other students looking to use Creative Cloud for creative endeavors may apply for a free copy through the CSU Entertainment Alliance at -adobe-creative-cloud-subscription-for-sfsu-students.
Please contact your local technical support with any questions regarding new software installation or updating your operating system. This software is intended for users who use it to perform their job. It can only be installed by someone with administrator access on the computer.
Adobe moved from a Volume License Model to a Named User Licensing (NUL). NUL packages for Acrobat and Creative Cloud are provided below. Both packages include the Creative Cloud desktop application which allows you to select any one of the available Adobe Products to download and install. These packages may be used as an alternative to downloading direct from creativecloud.adobe.com but may not always reflect the most updated software version.
Volume licensed packages that were serialized will have had their serial numbers permanently expired at the end of November, 2019. The volume license model is no longer available from Adobe. Please contact the Northwestern IT Endpoint Platforms team at consu...@northwestern.edu with any questions.
