The 2015 ADA CDT Dental Codes are now available for Dentrix customers running Dentrix G4 Productivity Pack 8 and Dentrix G5 Productivity Pack 2 or higher. The update includes 16 new ADA-CDT procedure codes. There is no new claim format in this update. Only Dentrix offices on a current Customer Service Plan will receive the new CDT codes automatically. If you are a Dentrix customer but are not on a Customer Service Plan, please contact our sales department at 888.988.4804 for the updated codes.

Windows 8/8.1 is supported on Dentrix beginning with Dentrix G5 Productivity Pack 1 Hotfix 2. If you are using any third-party applications with Dentrix, we recommend that you verify that all of your third-party software is compatible with Windows 8/8.1 before upgrading to Windows 8/8.1.

ADA Claim Form J430 supports reporting up to four diagnosis codes per claim. The form includes box 34 for the diagnosis code list qualifier that indicates which diagnostic coding system was used (for example, ICD-9), box 34a for listing diagnosis codes, and box 29a for the diagnosis code pointer that associates procedures on the claim form with their corresponding diagnosis code(s). The claim form also provides a new "Qty" field for each procedure (box 29b) to specify procedures that were performed multiple times and have the same procedure code, treatment area, and fee.

Dental offices using Dentrix G4 Productivity Pack 8 or Dentrix G5 can use the Check for Updates tool to download the updated claim form when it becomes available. To find the Check for Updates tool, right-click the Dentrix Quick Launch icon in the notification area of the Windows taskbar to open the Quick Launch menu. Next, click Updates and then click Check for Updates.

If the Dentrix Quick Launch icon is not displayed in the notification area of the Windows taskbar, you can check for updates by clicking About Dentrix from the Help menu of any Dentrix module and then clicking Check for Updates.

Dentrix G4, Productivity Pack 8, Hotfix 6 is now available to download and install. This hotfix includes insurance forms changes for California and Idaho. It also corrects a number of bugs in the Questionnaire and Office Manager modules. To learn about everything included in this hotfix please download the Release Guide.

Beginning January 2011, HIPAA requires dentists to use CDT 2011/2012 codes to represent dental procedures performed after January 1, 2011. Specifically, HIPAA requires all procedures for electronic claim submissions to use the code set that is current for the date of service.

Dentrix customers not on an active customer service plan can order the CDT 2011/2012 update utility on CD by calling Dentrix Sales at 1-800-Dentrix or contact the ADA and purchase the CDT 2011/2012 code book and CD and manually enter the changes to the CDT codes.

Dentrix G4 Productivity Pack 8 is available for download. Henry Schein Practice Solutions is controlling the release of this productivity pack to ensure that sufficient customer service is available to assist any customers who may want help with the update. To achieve this we are restricting download availability to certain times and days. For that reason it may not be available when you try to start the download. We expect that this productivity pack will be rolled out to all customers who want it within a few weeks. Dentrix is now integrated with PreViser's clinically validated risk and disease analysis software though a simple and easy to use technology bridge. This bridge allows PreViser to be launched from within Dentrix G3 and G4 versions, and pre-populates a number of the data fields required by PreViser.

The Dentrix Clinical Record compiles data from eight issues, or aspects, of dental care that are important either from the clinician's or patient's point of view and that contribute to the fulfillment of dental wellness. G3 CAMED Patch provides updates for the new requirements in California for Medicaid Claims. If you bill California Medicaid, and do not send your insurance claims electronically through eTrans you need to download this patch so you can print your CAMED claims with the new requirements.

If you installed Dentrix G3 and Dentrix VoicePro 5.0 AND are a Dentrix Image user you will need to install the Dentrix VoicePro 5.0 Component Update on your server and all workstations operating Dentrix G3. This will fix the error you receive when switching to the Image pane.

This file contains updates to Dentrix 11, including billing statement Exclude Outstanding to Insurance option and Please Pay Amount, Claim form DX2000MM removes comma, and when attaching an electronic Image sends correct date. New NYMed Claim form added, Time Clock calculations and reports, Provider A/R report, Performance Update to resolve reported speed issues. It also contains the new Claim requirements for the CAMED forms, fixes the Allocate credit balances/Split payment calculations for payments and adjustments, and in the Appointment Book/View Scheduled Production amount incorrect due to procedures with 1 time unit.

This file contains an update to Dentrix 11 for the New Prescription Form for New York. If you do not print prescriptions for New York you will not need to load this update on your system. The component update must be installed on each workstation.

This only needs to be installed if you are running Dentrix 11 with the Performance Update installed and DXMobile installed. If you are not a DXMobile user and have not installed the Performance Update this will not install on your computer. If you have any questions please call support.

In Component Update 2, fixes or enhancements have been made to the following features: printing the Managed Care Fee Schedule, Fees in the Fee Schedule window, and importing the SupPmt column to the Payment Table.

Option 2: Burn the Component Update file to a CD using a CD burner or copy the file to an external storage device, such as a jump drive. Take the CD or jump drive to each computer, save the TV60CU2 file to the Desktop. Double click the file on the Desktop and follow the instructions that appear to install the Component Update.
