google chrome wallpaper extension

when i first downloaded the extension it was great! but now everytime i try to set a picture as my desktop background a pop up comes up saying that the extension has crashed. what do i do?

i am doing some test to see how chrome is doing vs others and it's great...but...the set the wallpaper extension has some issues on xp(i use 7 ultimate and xp sp2)...for example i turn to set the photo i want and it appears...but it seems when i give refresh to the desktop it dissapears and a solid color remains (main&mine is blue)...then, no other app ( i have acdsee and photoshop, and xp's preview) than firefox could restore my wallpaper just to restart pc (it remains blue or it appears for some moments of the wallpapers but stil refreshing dissapears even i do not use the chrome's extension, or chrome is closed)...i really help some ppl with chome in many areas of browsing and this one is really great but xp has some issues (vista i do not use and i do not recommand using so i cannot say anything certain)...

This is really strange, I haven't updated the app for some time now. Perhaps it is a Chrome bug?

Dude I am trying my best ...

 

I have been maintaining this extension since two years. Two years of open source development. Google rejected adding wallpaper support for Chrome two years ago, so I took the liberty of spending months of work creating this extension for free and fun.

 

It is an open source project, and many people have committed code making this experience better. We are not asking for money or anything, just support. When I find time to find a Window box, I will attempt to fix it.

 

This extension is not a simple one, it is a really complex one. It uses C++, JavaScript, and Python. It might be a Google Chrome issue or a Windows issue, since I haven't updated it for a very long time something is clearly wrong.

 

So I am looking into it. If anyone wants to help, let me know. The source is completely open.
