NEWS and NOTE
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! It is hard to believe that it is already 2026, and I’m beginning my fourth year as the Executive Director of the North Country Mission of Hope. It has been a wild and at times a very difficult three years, but anytime I have become discouraged, YOU, the very supportive donors and Mission Family who lift my spirits and fill me with HOPE and light to a world in desperate need of both. THANK YOU, and please know of my prayers for you all.

EDUCATION SPONSORSHIPS
We are still accepting sponsorship for the 2026 Education program. I understand that the “deadlines” have passed; however, if you are an existing sponsor or someone contemplating a sponsorship this year, please know that we have students available and would be very happy to accept your sponsorships. School in Nicaragua begins at the beginning of February. It would be great if we could submit your sponsorship information before the beginning of February so we can pair students with sponsors before school begins. For some, this will help them decide whether they can continue their education journey.
MEDICAL EQUIPMENT
As you all know, a growing part of our Mission at Home is providing donated home medical equipment to people in need who do not have insurance or the means to afford the equipment they need as they recover. Presently, we are out of, or have very limited supplies of, Wheelchairs, tub transfer benches, canes, and rollators. If you have or know of anyone with these supplies or other home equipment, please contact me at 518-593-9718,jpcarl...@gmail.com and we can make arrangements to get them from you.
