My Child

I miss the smile I would see on your face,

now heartache and sorrow have taken it’s place.

I know it’s hard, you feel like your dying,

but don’t give up – you’ve got to keep trying.

The enemy you are fighting is 7000 years old,

a military strategist truth to be told.

But someone more powerful stands waiting by your side,

to be your salvation, your Savior, your guide.

Through his blood we are cleansed, our spirits set free.

Take heart my child, listen to me.

You can fight this fight, the battle can be won

When you remember to rely on God’s Beloved Son.

As they feel responsible for the people leaving, which is not accurate, but hard to counter that feeling. If you need help unsubscribing, please do not post that to the group. Quote from article.

Today I’m locking the door tight to whatever evil enters my heart and home.

Today I am going to remember the One who GIVES LIFE and knows I am a mess and LOVES ME ANYWAY.

Sounds like a great declaration.

Hey Karen, I'm giving a modesty lesson along with a prom dress outing for our young women.
What I'm looking for is something from the young men about how the girls dress.   How the boys think of them when they dress immodest.  Not just for prom but day to day outfits these young women wear.

If you go to the Sons of Helaman you tube channel there is a recording of some Generals being asked questions of girls from last summer. That is one of the questions and it's answered very well in that recording.

Take a look!

What a great lesson to teach!
This scripture stuck out to me today in Sunday school. This is and taking to Coriantumr, my thought was, the yw need to be modest, not because of what the ym think, but because of the Lord's desires for his yw.
Alma 39: 4 Yea, she did steal away the hearts of many; but this was no excuse for thee, my son. Thou shouldst have tended to the ministry wherewith thou wast entrusted.

So, the burden was back on the son, not on the harlot. So, the emphasis is on the he's relationship with the Lord.

Just a thought, I know some girls are motivated more by ym,  than they are motivated by Christ.

I'm sure you'll do a great job. Just think, we don't want to raise co-dependant young women.
