Odd Bike Frame

Hi,

I have been trying to get this bike frame to work but it still doesn't look as it is supposed to.
I let it run for a while, ended up at:

57 TS dt 0.01 time 0.57
Time: 0.57 Mass: 0.0086377 Elastic energy: 0.19936 

Obtaining the image attached, that still looks very weird. Any idea of what can be wrong?

For some reason it doesn't let me attach the vtk file... but I guess I can email it?

Its very hard to read anything from your image, since it contains both fields at once with the same colors. 
What order of approximation is this? Should be at least 2. 
To blank resorption areas use IsoVolume functionality in Paraview. (Filters->Alphabetical->IsoVolume). 
Please upload .vtk, command line and .jou or .cub file if you can.

Hi Maria, 
You probably haven't change any parameters in the model. (rho_ref, psi_ref, young_modulus) Originally, they were chosen only to assure convergence (which is poor anyway), they have no actual meaning. You can tweak them yourself for particular application. The results you are producing are fine, they just need better postprocessing, because unloaded discontinuity results in negative density. We should further look into it. 
Load the attached file in paraview to see how it looks with IsoVolume filter.

You can load file in preview: In top menu, you have File -> Load State.
