· Its OFFICIAL. the WTF President himself announced in Bernama Press Conference today 11.30 am 12 th January 2013 that Only Taekwondo Malaysia WTF is authorised to use the WTF logo and name in Malaysia as the only recognised Member Affiliate of WTF and the governing body for this sport in Malaysia. This authorisation and endorsement is also granted to Commercial business entities by the WTF worldwide.
This means that No other person, Club or Association is allowed the use of the WTF name and logo in its registration or promotion unless they are a member affiliate of TM. With this confirmation and supporting documents, TM will now take legal steps to exercise its rights as the ONLY governing body for this Sport in Malaysia. Everyone is welcome to join us with no exceptions before we begin the process to protect TM and our Members interests.Membership HAS IT"S PRIVILEGES. Many of you would have already heard the initial speech at the Presidential dinner in Sunway last night, as well as the speeches of our President, the WTF President and the Sports Minister. There is no more room for doubts and fence sitters
o The simple message here at the end of the day is "Join us, Work together, Bury the past, help us develop the future as that is the only way forward.”. Mistakes might have been made all round.
