I just posted the MarkdownEditor module at http://www.modularfilemaker.org/module/markdown-editor/, and would appreciate any feedback or suggestions for improvements. In particular, if anyone has a Windows environment in which they could test it, that would be much appreciated!

This modules uses FileMaker 13-native controls and the excellent PageDown.js library to implement markdown text syntax in your FileMaker Pro solution.

Thanks,
~ Cristos

Given that Google Code is shutting down, I don’t know what the status is of pagedown.js.

I recently did a video about integrating Markdown[1]. I personally used https://github.com/markdown-it/markdown-it because it seems to be a bit more active. Just throwing that out there in case you find it interesting.

Thanks for the feedback, Matt! I'll look at Markdown-it and may swap it in for v1.1.

Unfortunately, I'm not a subscriber, so I couldn't see your whole video -- but let me know if there are any techniques or features you'd like to collaborate on to make this more useful. (Happy to do co-authorship and crosslinking, if that's a concern.)

Nope, not a concern. Just spreading the knowledge since I had just dealt
with the topic. ;)

Would it be possible to use this module for FM12 at all? Or does it use specific 13-only functions?

The interface elements (Slider & Popover) are FM13+ only. However, the underlying elements (webviewer and field, along with all calculations) should work fine in FM12.
