steady state simulation in Modelmuse

Hi,

I am new to Modelmuse, and I would greatly appreciate your help.

I am doing a simple exercise to run my model in steady state, and I have two questions.

1. I've noticed that my simulated heads don't respond to recharge and well pumping rates. When I play around with those rates, the simulated heads stay the same. 

2. For pumping, I just assigned the rate to the basin layer where all cells are active (assuming that pumping is taking place in the entire basin), but I get a warning "well package in inactive cells". 

Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?
