Hai all,
I am new to GMS MODFLOW modelling, I have gone through the tutorials of conceptual modelling using GMS MODFLOW and tried to apply the same for a coastal aquifer, in which I am unable to encounter how the conductance value of a river can be obtained and can be applied, and also when we assign a recharge value for the model do we need to run a separate model to obtain the recharge or else by what ways can it be obtained.
Thank you in advance.

Conductance of the river is obtained by using the dimension (L,W,m) of the river and vertical hydraulic conductivity (Kz) of the river bed (as part of the aquifer). Recharge can be taken as some % of rainfall plus other sources like return flow from irrigation (%) etc in the absence of any specific studies. Both the parameters are subject to change during calibration.
