Hi all,

Does anyone know if it's possible to do sequential decay with MF6? I found something in the docs that said the intended workflow for multi-species transport is to declare separate transport models, but I don't think there's a way to communicate a thing like "concentration of decay product" from one to the other within a single simulation. MF-NWT and MT3D-USGS can/could do sequential decay within the same model run.

In case I'm going about this all wrong, here is a bit more background. Di-chlorobenzene (DCB) and  chlorobenzene (CB) are both present in our system. DCB decays into CB. Both are DNAPLS. I would also like to test running a simulation where DCB decays and the concentrations of both DCB and CB affect the flow solution via the buoyancy package (in the hopes of simulating DNAPL sinking through the water column). Seems like that could only work if everything is being run in one go instead of sequentially.

Cheers,
Mike
