If the cells between the CHD cells are inactive, there won't be any flow between the CHD boundaries. If the CHD head is below the cell bottom in a convertible cell, that is an error.
I am building a steady-state, unconfined MODFLOW 6 model in ModelMuse, with constant-head boundaries on the left (about 50 m) and right (49 m) sides of a single-layer aquifer. Despite specifying these boundaries and an initial head near 50 m, the model does not show any flow across the domain, and the cells seem to remain dry. Furthermore, if I set the CHD boundary to a head below 40 m, Model Monitor reports errors. Please suggest what seems to be an issue in this case.
