Hello :)

I'm going to buy software for groundwater modelling. Which one do you recommend for beginer? Prices of both are similiar. Most important for me are reliability, simplicity of use and possibility import and export to GIS data. Maybe do yoy have any other ideas?

Best Regards,
Grzegorz

"Groundwater Vistas" is another good software to be kept in mind while deciding. You may see the details at http://www.rockware.com/product/overview.php?id=147

I suggest you also take a look at ModelMuse.
http://water.usgs.gov/nrp/gwsoftware/ModelMuse/ModelMuse.html

Other ones to consider include Argus ONE, Groundwater Vistas, Processing MODFLOW for Windows, and Leapfrog Hydro. My favorite is ModelMuse, but I'm biased; I wrote ModelMuse. I suggest you look at past messages in this group or in the LinkedIn forums on MODFLOW and Groundwater Modeling to see what people have said about the various graphical user interfaces.

Leap frog hydro does not run modflow models. It allows the conceptual model building that can be translated into modflow or feflow

As far as I know there's evaluation licenses available for all those software packages. So regarding simplicity of use for example you should be able to find that out pretty easily for yourself. This is always a matter of personal taste I think...
