Hello everybody,

I have a problem with a model, when I run the model, I receive this message "System Error Code 193. %1 is not an application win32 valid"

Thank you.

Is this a message displayed in ModelMonitor or a message displayed in
the DOS window when trying to start ModelMonitor. Either way, it looks
like you are trying to run a 64-bit program on a 32 bit operating
system. If it is a message displayed in ModelMonitor, then you might be
trying to run the 64-bit version of MODFLOW-NWT instead of the 32 bit
version.

Hello!
I have the same problem when I use modflow-nwt, and I don't able to solve it.
When I try to open modflow-nwt 32bit, it does't open.
It seems that executable isn't a 32bit...
Some suggestions???

Thank you.

I reported the problem with MODFLOW-NWT version 1.08 on Windows XP some time ago to the parties responsible for maintaining it.Nothing has been done about it so far. MODFLOW-NWT version 1.08 will run on Windows 7 as a 32 bit program but will not run on Windows XP. MODFLOW-NWT version 1.07 will run on Windows XP. If you don't already have version 1.07, you can download it from the following URL.
http://water.usgs.gov/nrp/gwsoftware/modflow_nwt/MODFLOW-NWT_1.0.7.zip
You could also try compiling MOFDLOW-NWT yourself. There are instructions for compiling MODFLOW with various compilers at http://water.usgs.gov/nrp/gwsoftware/modflow_nwt/Guide/index.html?suggestions_on_compiling.htm. You might be able to adapt them for MODFLOW-NWT. If you don't have a compiler, gfortran is a free fortran compiler.
