Hi there,

I'm a new user of Modflow. So i wonder which version or interface of Modflow I should be using or at least starting with, and of course best with windows operating system.
I know that GMS like Modflow is a command line software, while modelmuse and visual modflow are more or less provided with a graphical user interface fo Modflow-2005, with an integration of MT3D transport model.
I'm interested in establishing a hydrodynamic model of an aquifer for evaluating water potential (No consideration of tranport processes), and concerned about the interface more dynamic and user friendly, and the calculation accuracy.
What would you recommend?

thank u in advance for replying.

Hi Hatem. GMS is also a graphical interface of Modflow. I suggest ModelMuse, free of charge, while others are expensive. It has a lot of tutorial videos. Like any of the other products you have mentionned, it his complex because gw modeling is complex. Try simple problems first ...
