Hi

I am trying to get familiar with this software for the upcoming project. I downloaded the trial version and using it for the learning purpose. I am trying the conceptual modeling tutorial in the website.

I tried multiple time but I am not able to extract mass balance information.

The error message shows this like this " Extracting mass balance information...Could not find file 'C:\Users\Acer\OneDrive\Documents\Visual MODFLOW Flex\Projects\Practice_Grid3\Practice_Grid3.data\MODFLOW\NumericGrid_3\Run\MODFLOW-2005\Conceptual Model3.lst'.Error: No mass balance information is available.***** Errors/Warnings were detected. *****

I can't understand what am I missing.

I was wondering if anyone can help me solve this.

Are you using Visual MODFLOW?

Hi, I also ran into the same problem and I currently use Visual MODFLOW Flex.

Have you found the solution to the problem?

You need to save the mass balance information from the software first. After you run the mode, on the left hand side , you will see the "View Results" tab. There will be "View Charts". Insid etehr will be mass balance information. If you click on this, you will go to a new tab where there will be a text file. This text file has the mass balance information. Open it and then save in your required folder. The you can open the mass balance file without having to go through the VM interface and do your own processing.

Thanks and Regards

As a first option I recommend moving your project on a computer drive. Never use a synching folder to store your project files.
