Hello everyone,

There is a problem when I set up the simulation time length in translate step. I chose the length to be 8000 days and steps to be 1,1000,2000,3000,4000,5000,6000,7000,8000days separately, but in the end the concentration outputs only gives me time step of 1,365 and 8000 days. I am not sure whats wrong with the settings.

plz see the pics attached
thanks a lot

Hope you are running a transient model. I don't know if this can be applied to your problem. When I give pumping schedule, I usually give a table with the different times at which i need results. For example I give 1, 50 , 100 days and so on. So automatically during the translate these time steps are taken.

Thank you  ashafa for your reply. I am running a steady state model in visual modflow and when it comes to time steps related to contaminant transport, I set up those time steps to make it easier to see what will happend during each time steps. It is different from pumping schedue table tho.

Thanks ashafa for your reply. I am running a steady state model in visual modflow flexand when it comes to time steps related to contaminant transport I set up those times steps to see what will happen during each time. It is different from pumping schedule table tho.

So I guess that's were you went wrong. If you need to get time varying results, you should probably run your model in transient state. From my limited knowledge, Just by giving time steps in the output control and then running in steady state won't give you the desired results at different time steps.
