Hello

I used the PEST law to define my processing modflow model in the same way as you, but the curve error when I did PEST is as follows:

PEST Version 16.0. Watermark Numerical Computing.
PEST is running in parameter estimation mode.
PEST run record: case pest
(See file pest.rec for full details.)
Model command line:
modelrun.bat
Running model ....
Running model 1 time....
Error condition prevents continued PEST execution:-
Cannot open model output file pest.mod2smpheadoutput.
Run Finished or Terminated.

I would like to ask if any of you have encountered the same problem?

This error message is caused because PEST was unable to interpolate heads for one or more of your observations. Most likely those observations are in dry cells.

As it seems to be the initial model run causing the issue, it is using the initial parameters from the PEST control file (.PST). Look at the results of that run and locate observations that are in dry cells. The .LST file could help you with that, or alternatively your GUI.
