MODFLOW Convergence Issue

Dear All, 

While running the steady state run (MODFLOW 2005), the following error is coming:

"Warning: FAILED TO MEET SOLVER CONVERGENCE CRITERIA IN TIME STEP    1 OF STRESS PERIOD 1; For more details, please refer to the .LST file: You can also consult the Help section for some suggestions on troubleshooting model non-convergence".

Any suggestions to overcome the issue are highly appreciated.

you could set a higher RCLOSE (residual change) or HCLOSE (head change) in the solver, it will result in a convergence but maybe the model wont be that accurate because of a higher tolerance
