Can somebody assist me with the procedure for changing a fixed head
boundary cells to a GHB using zone budget & PEST. I have more than 50
cells that I would like to change at one go instead of tackling each
cell individually.

If you are using Groundwater Vistas (www.groundwatermodels.com), you
can convert instantly from one boundary type to another. Otherwise,
it would depend on whether you are using the CHD Package as the input
for your fixed heads or the BASIC Package. If the Basic Package then
it's not that simple because you need to remove the negative signs in
the IBOUND array, and pick out the head values from the starting head
array. Then you'll need to create a GHB input file (and presumably a
PEST template file) using that information. If you are using the CHD
Package it's a lot simpler because you can just reformat the CHD
input file to GHB format in a text editor pretty quickly. The
formats are very similar.
