October game

Thanks to all who came out for our September game, Fate: Atomic Robo the Roleplaying Game.

I'm not too proud to admit that, halfway through that game, I really, really wanted a GM screen.  That said, I'm glad everybody had fun and were good sports.

Sadly, for October, our normal "1st Thursday of the Month" game day is being pre-empted by a special event.  Happily, that event is a concert by awesome indy nerd rock group The Doubleclicks!

Glad to hear the AR game went well. Sorry I had to miss it. 

I would suggest that we try to organize some kind of horror-genre game on the 25th of Oct, just before Halloween. I know Monsterhearts is popular with some folks. Maybe there are others?

The Graphic Novel Book Club is ostensibly on that night.

Ah.  Thanks for the reminder, Sam.  Counter-proposals?  I'm hoping to avoid it next week (the 9th), as I think I have other plans.

Sam, we will do our level best to have book club on 10/25 as scheduled.

Geoff, we are going to have a staff meeting Tuesday night where we will hopefully get a clearer picture of what events are happening when and who will be free to work them.  I will update everybody on Wednesday.

The last two weeks of September have been particularly trying, as Michael Dow had to leave town to help his family deal with extraordinary health issues.

We are doing our best to work around that and still host regularly scheduled events.
