Jason, thanks for that link. In the mainstream press, China is almost
always portrayed as monolithic -- free of internal debate with everyone
bowing to the will of the head of the CCP. It's good to see an article
in the English-facing media that controverts this.
ISTR hearing that Michael Hudson had taught in China at various times.
I wonder if he had any influence over this debate.
