Later this week there's a big event in Scotland which until now escaped my attention:
Scotland's Economics Festival.
It takes place Thursday, March 19 thru Saturday, March 21 in Leith,
Scotland, which is part of the city of Edinburgh. This is a multi-venue
event as well as a multi-day event and includes MMT-specific,
MMT-adjacent and other talks. Both in-person attendance and web viewing
mostly require online registration, but some sessions are free; see
here
for your ticketing options. Some of the presenters who are already
familiar to this list: Steve Keen, John Harvey, Phil Armstrong, Richard
Murphy, Patricia Pino -- but there are many others new to me. You can
start the Saturday session with tea with Warren Mosler and conclude at
the pub with "Pintonomics."
