I think MHN could be very useful, but I've tried installing it on Ubuntu 14.04.5 and 16.04.3, 32 and 64 bit versions, using various guides and the install never seems to complete successfully. Does anyone have updated install instructions from these which work on 14 or 16? Also, should I be using the 32 or 64 bit version? Thanks!

Hey there,
Excellent article on getting things set up. I currently run an SSL'd MHN management server with a dionaea, p0f, snort honeypot and it works very well.

Hope this helps,

Gabe

Dear BlueJ,

use guide on github readme... I use this and install MHN on Ubuntu 14.04 and Ubuntu 16.04.

For Ubuntu 16.04 read this guide for solve some problems (first install mhn).

Ubuntu 16.04 and 14.04 should now be fully supported for installation. The following steps is all it should take. Make sure you're running on a system with enough memory. For example, the $5 (512MB ram, 20GB SSD) droplet on Digital Ocean will not be enough, you will need to $10 (1GB ram, 30GB SSD) droplet.

sudo apt install git
cd /opt
cd mhn
sudo ./install.sh
