Enabling MPI

Hello, I have some large alignments to analyze and would therefore like to enable MPI. I am getting the following output from my Ubuntu terminal...

[MPI] Testing MPI environment...

[MPI] Proceed without MPI

That last line breaks my heart because I have so many cores that are going unused. Can anyone help me? Is there some sort of configuration change I should make?

Please disregard. I found a workaround for it using section 2.4.2 from the jModelTest manual: http://www.phylo.org/pdf_docs/jmodeltest-2.1.6-manual.pdf
