ModelSim License

Hello everyone,

I have a problem about licensing of ModelSim.

I download modelsim and license recived me with email.

I download my license in my computer, but simulation dosn't work,and transcript look like this

Pls ensure that the downloaded liscence file is saved at   C:\Modeltech_pe_edu_10.4a
and not at C:\Modeltech_pe_edu_10.4a\win32pe_edu\

If the liscence file was not copied into the main folder of Modeltech_pe_edu_10.4a but inside the sub folder win32pe_edu then i think you would have to request a liscence again and copy it in the main folder.

I have a question? Which is  C:\Modeltech_pe_edu_10.4a 

 and which is C:\Modeltech_pe_edu_10.4a\win32pe_edu\

because i have only setup that i download modelsim.

Install the modelsim application first in your c drive..then copy the student_license.dat file into the Modeltech_pe_edu_10.4a  folder that would be formed in the c drive.
