ModelSim worked without any problems before the update to 10.2a (from 10.1c).
Now, as soon as it opens, Windows reports "vsih.exe has stopped working" and it closes.

Nothing has changed on my part since the update, license has also been instaled correctly.

I have Win7x64. I know it says x86 only, but still, 10.1c worked flawlessly on this exact same setup. Any suggestions?

My switch from 10.1a to 10.2a (Linux) is also not going smoothly. The random values generated between revisions are completely different so the test results are also different. This means that I have to maintain questa versions if I want to re-create existing bugs and verify fixes. There were also compile issues such as `ifndef xyz `define abc on the same line now breaks the compile. The biggest problem I am seeing is some kind of operational difference which I believe is unrelated to the random issue ie. the same monitor will capture signals differently between revisions. Debug of simulator issues is not on my schedule.
