license key not found.

Hello friends. 

    i need help. i had installed modelsim pe student edition 10.1a. but show error when i try to simulate it. shows "** Error: ModelSim PE Student Edition license key file not found at C:\Modeltech_pe_edu_10.1a\win32pe_edu\..\student_li cense.dat. one or more problems with the license key such as:

# - it is not found
# - it has expired
# - it is not for this user
# - it is not for this computer

# - it is not for this version of ModelSim PE Student Edition."

  

actually i had saved license key at C:\modeltech_pe_edu_10.1a\. then also not working.. even in C:\medltech_pe_edu_10.1a\win32pe_edu\ then also it showing same error..

i had uninstalled it and again re-installed after completing it invokes license request i did it also saved in those directories. but still same error. 

can you please exactly tell me what should  i do.?? <jaim...@gmail.com> thats my id. help me..

the same thing is happening with me....after installation it's opening
browser but no license is found......progrms are being compild but not
simulated......what to do now???....replay on ap1...@gmail.com

[ModelSim Student Edition]

I highly recommend that you actually READ the download, installation and license file REQUEST instructions.

You have to request the license file once the installation routine finishes. If you do not get this webpage, then something on your system is preventing the web page from loading.

If you do get to the license file request page - you HAVE TO FILL IT OUT and submit it.

If you do not get to the license file request page - you have to figure out what is not allowing it to open, like our anti-virus or spyware program. Then you MUST re-run the exe to get to the last step of requesting the license file.

THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO OBTAIN A LICENSE FILE.

After you have requested the license file, it will be EMAILED to you.

Check your SPAM folder. Check your EMAIL BLOCKER program.

Did you enter the correct email address?

This is an automated system and is the only way to obtain a license file for the Student Edition.

I just validated, (downloaded, installed, and requested the license file) on a Windows XP machine using Firefox 3.6.27.

I've had received the license key and saved in C:\Modeltech_pe_edu_10.1c as instructed, but the program still complaining when I tried to simulate a vhdl file. 

Here's the transcription:

# ** FATAL ERROR: ModelSim PE Student Edition licensing failure due to one or more problems with the license key such as:

# - it is not found

# - it has expired

# - it is not for this user

# - it is not for this computer

# - it is not for this version of ModelSim PE Student Edition.

Notice that I have download it in the same computer I'm using the program and downloaded the license just 7 days ago.

There are some changes that I have to do, to make the program find the license??
