Google Groups will no longer be supporting pages or files starting
February 2011.

We encourage the members to go to http://hummod.org

All of the files are located at this site and there is an e-mail
address to contact us.

Dear Robert,

now, we have proceeded in revision of Hummod Modelica implementation
and we have found some small errors in your implementation.

It turns out that the Modelica language is very useful tool for
visualization and modeling of hierarchical structure in large systems
of integrative physiology. It seems, that Hummod is much clearer,
brighter and readable for physiologist in Modelica.

We have presented a model Hummod implemented in Modelica at the
meeting of the European Virtual Physiological Human project, which
attracted considerable attention.

As part of the Virtual Physiological Human initiative next year will
be open possibility of grant application for joint projects of the EU
and U.S. - it could be an opportunity for both of us (if you want).

We would be very interested in any future collaborations.  Do you have the modelica model running and providing simulaitons?

Yes, model is running on Modellica environment, and also we have
found some error in original model - and we have an idea, to describe
the structure of the model based on its Modelica structure - it is
more understandabel for physiologists. It would be grate if we do it
together.

I am interested in the VPH project.  who is initiating this?  I looked at the website and saw that Randy Thomas had a project.  However I think his work is based on the older Guyton model.

Dr Hester,
This is good news - since european grants have greater chances if several partners are involved - i could be the romanian partner.
Hello from chicago - clinicians were taken aback by the model - you should probably see a lot of hits on hummod website :-)
Talk to you later
