Hello All.

Im Stephen and have recently started modelling glasgow. so far i have
done 8 models and i reckon at least a few will be accepted by GE. I've
recently done st georges tron and its looking pretty good (if i dont
mind saying so). search my username in 3d warehouse (sdunlop) and
you'll find them.

i have over 30 models in progress but as i no longer live in glasgow i
have a shortage of relevant images. I've done sections of the city
centre grid in which one or two facades are blank. is there anyone
living in glasgow prepared to help me out if i make requests?

P.S. can the spammers please get deleted by the moderator. we all know
where to find p o r n if we want it.

Hi Stephen, I was just browsing round Google Earth, as I'm apt to do
from time to time, and spotted that the tron was now a 3d model and
hey, what's that behind it in the distance? The Townhead flats! An
hour or so later and I've downloaded several kmz files of your models
and those of others. I'm now hooked, I'm gonna give it a go! I live in
The Herald Building on Albion Street which being, for the most part, a
series of rectangle blocks should be an easy one to start off with(!?)
Time will tell.

Anyway, thanks to those of you who have taken the trouble to model
some of Glasgows buildings, it was a joy flying around them ;-)

hello al. before you start building beware, im a pure google earth addict, it might just take over your life!!! i work nightshift and have very little to do during the day so its not a major problem. it beats a heroin or gambling addiction!!!!

i no longer live in glasgow so have to settle for downloaded images other than the handful of photos i got time to take the last time i was visiting. i'll email you any photos you need and would be extremely grateful if you could post images to me as i have many blocks in the city centre that are in various stages of completion. if you search for sdunloptempfiles on 3d warehouse and you can see some of the ones im working on. i dont update those files often, i only uploaded them to compare heights of the different modles so that they are all accurate. let me know if their is one you want to complete as i may already have added more to it.

im currently doing queen street station. ive also almost completed the block across from the tron with the clydesdale bank.

theres an attached file with all the ones im working on. red means in progress, green is finished.

hello folks, i've completed a further 7 models since i last chatted o
nthis google group thing.

queen street station, buchanan calleries, college of building and
printing, cowcaddens, housing estate, and 3 blocks of the city centre.

has anyone else started any models in glasgow or are interested in
finishing the ones that i havent the patience to complete?
