Most folks recommend (me included) that you go back in with the teflon seats in the linkages once you have the balls replaced. Those teflon seats come with a different screw plug. So boogering up(that's a "technical" term) the screw plug isn't a big deal. I use the biggest screw driver I can find (mine has a square shaft) and then clamp down on the shaft with a Crescent wrench as a cheater. But then I've been lucky, my cars weren't barn fresh when I did this job.
