postback events in modalbox

hi all,

i have two separate aspx page, parent page with some text boxes and a
child page with a gridview. the grid view in the child page has server
side events such as page indexing, sorting and row command and when i
click on row command the record of the selected row should be copied
into textbox of the parent page. i opened child page on click event of
a button in parent as a modalbox. but no post back operation happen in
modalbox.

please its very urgent...

try to open firebug and look for js errors, Check if modalbox object is called.
