Hi

I did notice some email exchange from December 2010, but before I
start to invest my time on seeing what I accomplish with pubtkt,
I'd just like to know that is this project still active and not likely
to disappear?
I don't need any hard guarantees, just that developer has not ditched
this.

Cheers,
Manwe

Yes, it's still active. There just haven't been any pressing bugs to be fixed or features to be implemented in the last couple of months - that's all :)

Don't mesure the project by this list activity, the list has been always
quite silent. Maybe one simple reason about this silence is that the
software works as expected and never gets in the middle, just DTRT.

This is by far the most easy to setup, use and integrate WebSSO
that I have found that meets our requirements at work.

I agree with this, has been working great for us for a while now.

It's strange, I remember having to Google a lot to find this solution in the first place. There seems to be so few people using this technique that when I try to explain to people what it is they look confused!  For me it seems the most sensible, lightweight and scalable solution you could ever find though - delegate your authentication to your front end web severs in a completely decentralised manner. Wins every time over a centaralised solution :)

Cheers,

Matt
