[I have asked similar questions before and never heard anything back. PL/1
seems not to be very popular on small machines -- Digital Research used to
have a PC compiler but it wasn't well received. -John]

Send compilers articles to ima!compilers or, in a pinch, to Lev...@YALE.ARPA
Plausible paths are { ihnp4 | decvax | cbosgd | harvard | yale | cca}!ima
Please send responses to the originator of the message -- I cannot forward
mail accidentally sent back to compilers. Meta-mail to ima!compilers-request

In article <5...@ima.UUCP> you write:

The only PL/1 compiler for the Unix market place I know of is frlom
LPI. You don't state what hardware you're running on but the LPI PL/1
is available on various 68000/68020, Weco32100, and soon to be Intel386.

[LPI certainly knows how to write PL/I compilers -- they wrote every PL/I
I ever heard of other than IBM's. Anyone have experience with their Unix
versions? -John]
