I've seen the discussions about the work the printer driver does
resampling ( or maybe it doesn't resample ) color dithering, and
bitplane smashing. But what really bothers me is seeing the printer
print an entirely white line. On my Okimate 20 in color mode, to print
a blank line it makes three passes, one for each color that is not
printed.
