Todd:
We do have a known bug in 0.13.0 that causes the calibration to continue looping under certain conditions when the first XY homing attempt fails. While it did not surface in fairly extensive pre-release testing, we have seen it on two printers since then. 0.13.1 is soon to come and fixes the bug.
A few more details would help me/New Matter better understand your observation:
- Is this failure to calibrate repeatable? (I'm inferring this from "I can't print anything", but it's not entirely clear if this was an initial attempt or many)
- Are you starting with the build tray in a particular location? We have learned that starting with the build tray in a corner is somewhat more likely to fail the current XY homing than starting with the tray at left-center (left side, centered fore-aft). This is despite the existence of instructions showing the placement of the tray in a corner before homing.
If it is consistently failing, and with the tray starting at left-center, providing a more-detailed summary of the moves* to failure or a video (contact me off-list for an upload link) will greatly help us nail this down.
* for example: "moves right, moves left to the center of the left-right motion, moves back, chatters for 30 seconds, stops moving and 10 minutes later the fan turns off."
Thanks,
