Hello to all, hello Derek!

When I've opened my MOD-t head to replace the lower filament guide and hot end that New Matter sent me (no problems at all doing the operation, was very easy, thank you so much!), I've noticed two plastic parts that have problems and are on their way to broke.
  1) The upper filament guide: I've found one lateral pin totally detached (the broken part was inside the head). I've glued it with cyanoacrylate. Here you can see the piece before and after my gluing:

  2) The extrusor plastic body, there was cracks starting from the holes where fit the screws to fix it on the aluminum plate, like the holes in the plastic are a little to small for the screws diameter (or could be my fault...?). I've filled cracks with cyanoacrylate and sanded to resume the fixing plane, in the try to prevent cracks to go further on.

My question are:
  • Are there some problems on the plastic that could be fixed for future batches to prevent this to happen or could be my fault? (I cannot exclude that!)
  • Is there someone with the same situation? (I remember to have read another one with a pin detached from the upper filament guide...)
  • Could be a good idea to replace those parts before they crack definitively or they can survive long times?
As a side note I would like to say that I love the new lower filament guide! I'm now changing filament with ease without fear, loading without unloading the filament. Could be the case to give correct instruction on the MOD-t printer tool?

My upper guide broke much in the same way when i opened the extruder up to clear it from filament remains, yeah.

Currently waiting for my new parts.

I also had the upper guide crack apart.  Went to change the filament and cracked pieces of the upper guide fell out with the tube.  They recently sent me a replacement piece, but I have not attempted to replace it yet.
