I hope I’m not the only one who’s experimented with this... but I bought a cheap hotend off the internet in order to switch with the new matter one. I stole the connector from an old hotend and used it on the new one. Well, obviously this didn’t work. The printer starts up like normal when changing filament or beginning a print but then switches back to idle mode when it realizes it isn’t the real new matter hot end. Is there a way around this?

Wich one did you buy? Please post a link, it seems that 24V is needed.
